DESICCANT TECHNOLOGY

When used to remove moisture normal heaters won’t fully accomplish this task and instead can still result in sweating or other condensation scenarios. Desiccant technology is required to get very dry air into your space. With our units, the desiccant wheel absorbs moisture from process air. The moisture is taken out of the wheel by a second and separate reactivating air-stream. The fully integrated dehumidifiers we offer includes process and reactivation filters, fans and all in a simple way for you to have complete control of your climate.

DESICCANT WHEEL IS A MUST

A stainless steel desiccant wheel is a must when trying to remove moisture from your job space. While heat is often used to help remove moisture, it will not remove all of it. With our desiccant units, we can remove hundreds of gallons of water per day from the job space, depending on what size you choose along with your ambient temperature and relative humidity. Mechanical, refrigerated dehumidifiers are optimal for maintaining dew points above 50°F and ambient temperatures above 60°F, while desiccant dehumidifiers are suitable for lower dew points and temperatures. Determining the criticality of a specific dew point is essential for controlling moisture-related issues like corrosion, mold, and mildew.
